Privacy notice

Your data, handled properly.

How I collect, use and protect your information, including the health data you share with me. Last updated 27 October 2026.

Who I am

Parker Health is run by me, Jacob Parker, as a sole trader in the UK. I am the data controller for the personal information described here, which means I decide how it is used and I am responsible for looking after it.

Parker Health is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), registration number C2070282.

For anything about your data, email me at jacob.parkerhealth@pm.me.

What I collect

Contact details: your name, email address, Instagram handle and anything else you choose to send when you get in touch.

Health information: blood test results, symptoms, medical history, medications, supplements, training and lifestyle details, and anything else you share so I can review your data and build a plan. Health information is "special category" data under UK GDPR, and I treat it with extra care.

Records of our work together: recorded video reviews, protocol documents, notes and our messages.

Payment details: payments are taken by Stripe or Square. I see the amount, date and your name, but never your full card details.

Why I use it, and the legal basis

To provide the service you ask for (reviews, plans, packages and follow-ups): necessary to perform our agreement.

To handle your health information: your explicit consent, which you give when you send it to me for review. You can withdraw consent at any time, but I will not be able to continue the work without it.

To keep business, tax and insurance records: my legal obligations and legitimate interests.

I do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or make automated decisions about you.

Where it is kept and who else sees it

Your information is held in my email (Proton Mail), on my own computer and in my secure file storage. Video reviews are hosted on Loom. Payments are processed by Stripe or Square. If you leave a review, it is handled by REVIEWS.io.

These providers act on my instructions and have their own security and privacy terms. Some, such as Loom, may store data outside the UK; where that happens, it is covered by UK-approved safeguards.

Blood tests are ordered directly by you from the lab, under the lab's own privacy terms. I only see the results you choose to send me.

I will only share your information with anyone else, such as your GP, if you ask me to or the law requires it.

How long I keep it

I keep client records for six years after our last contact, so I can answer questions about past work and meet my insurance and tax obligations. After that they are deleted. You can ask me to delete them sooner, and I will unless I have to keep something by law.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct it, delete it, restrict how I use it, or send it to you or someone else in a usable format. You can also object to how I use it and withdraw consent at any time. Email me and I will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your data, please tell me first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
